Trails End Recycling supports local schools with Leander ISD Annual Recycle Drive

Help Trails End Recycling make the world a little greener and support your local schools at the same time. Westside Elementary, Knowles Elementary and CC Mason Elementary of Leander Independent School District are competing to collect aluminum cans for recycling. No matter if you are friend, family or neighbor, everyone is welcome to drop off aluminum cans at the Trails End Recycling facility located in Leander, Texas. Are you a Knowles Wrangler? A Westside Rocket? A Mason Mustang? Pick your favorite and your donation will go toward that school’s total collected. The winning school will be treated to a magic show by John Maverick Magic. That’s not all however! All revenue from recycling will be donated to Leander ISD. The contest begins today, March 5th and will end on April 16th. How many lbs will be collected? Like our Facebook post and make a guess – the closest will win a $25 American Express gift card!*

Get involved:

1) Save your recyclable aluminum cans.

2) Bring them to Trails End Recycling at 12510 Trails End Rd in Leander, Texas during normal business hours

3) Don’t forget to tell us which school you are donating for!

Trails End Recycling is open 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Trails End Recycling also pays out for scrap metals, wire and other e-waste (only cans can be donated to the school’s competition). Veteran's Day 2011

On Veterans Day, CDN Systems joins America in saluting our brave men and women in uniform. Veteran's Day is celebrated on November 11th and was originally called Armistice Day to commemorate the fallen soldiers of World War I. The date was chosen to coincide with the cessation of hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in World War I, which occurred on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. In 1954, the name of the holiday was changed to Veterans Day and now honors all veterans including the approximate 20 million living in the United States today. Thank you all for your service and sacrifice.

MOJO Volleyball Tournament

2010 Project Grinch completed

The Project Grinch Wipeout Baseball Tournament has concluded and the results are in – over 700 toys were collected and donated to Toys for Tots! Pictured below are Nels Tobias and Scott Fountain.

Tournament winners were as follows:

8U Division: 1st – Cedar Park Blue Thunder, 2nd – Austin Aces

9U Division: 1st – Diablos Southwest, 2nd – Tigers

11U Division: 1st – Scorpions Gold, 2nd – Team Extreme Stallions

2010 Project Grinch

For the last eight years the Sam Bass Baseball Association of Pflugerville has sponsored the Project Grinch Wipeout Baseball Tournament, which raises money and provides toys to different local charitable organizations. CDN Systems will be on the scene providing equipment and volunteers to assist in the collection and transportation of toys to this year's charity. Players and other attendees are encouraged to bring a new toy that will be donated to the Toys for Tots Foundation. Come join us December 4^th and 5^th at the Cedar Park Youth League field.

2010 Outlaw Trail 100 Cycling Tour

The Trails End Recycling team enjoyed a tour of historic Williamson Country today, while participating in the 2010 Outlaw Trail 100 Cycling Tour. Trails End Recycling took the #1 (Doug Coplin) and #2 (Scott Fountain) finishing spots in the 10 mile tour. Trails End Recycling also had long distance riders that finished the 30 mile, 40 mile, 50 mile, 63 mile (Way to go Ron!) tours.
